Time to Register for Optiminds’ Cognitive Camp 2016

Camp1Summer vacation is just around the corner, so this is a great time to register your child for Optiminds’ Cognitive Camp. Our annual camp is a fun way for kids from kindergarten through high school keep their brains active all summer long, helping them retain what they learned in school, catch up on classes they need work in and even advance a level from where they were.

Attendees can expect an individualized, customized program based on skill level. The program consists of academic work and brain training activities, including critical thinking skills.

Specific areas of focus include:

  • Math, English, Reading comprehension
  • Cognitive training for academics
  • Critical thinking and problem solving
  • Social skills
  • Study skills
  • SAT/ACT test prep
  • Sports: The Mental Game for Success (new this year)

Cognitive Camp for 2016 runs from June 20 through August 5, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at our Optiminds location at 29688 Telegraph Road in Southfield. Sessions are available in one-day or one-week intervals. Camp fees are $50/half day, $100/full day and $200/week for half days and 400/week for full days. A half-day session is three hours; full day is six hours. Ask about pricing for families enrolling more than one student.
